Just last night, I made a batch of Sriracha Teriyaki Chicken Wings in my Ninja Air Fryer. This is not a paid endorsement, but I must share with you just how amazing this Air Fryer is to use and how perfectly crispy and delicious my Sriracha Teriyaki Chicken Wings turned out.

Winging It
On a recent shopping trip at my local Fresh Market (.thefreshmarket.com) while searching for dinner ideas, I picked up some chicken wings on sale. The wings were conveniently already split and meaty looking. I knew, they would be absolutely perfect to cook in my new Air Fryer.
Air Fryer Fast
I had done some research and because I wanted to see what the fryer could basically do; I chose to keep the prep really simple. After patting dry, I used only salt and pepper to season the chicken, no oil. I placed a batch of the wings onto the crisper plate and then next, I set the timer for 24 minutes. About halfway through, I hit the pause button and using tongs, just turned the wings over and resumed cooking. That’s it! When the timer went off, the chicken was perfectly crispy and tender.
Sriracha Teriyaki Sauce
Without a doubt the chicken was so good it could truly be enjoyed as is. However, my family loves the flavor of teriyaki and they also like some heat. So, while the chicken was cooking, I mixed up a tasty Sriracha Teriyaki Sauce. You can tone down or eliminate the sriracha if you prefer because the sauce will still have a lot of flavor without. Either way, I’m sure you will love how quickly you can make this simple and delicious meal.
*Bonus points for the Ninja Air Fryer added because there is basically zero clean-up! When you are done cooking the chicken, simply remove basket with the crisper (not the base unit itself) and clean in your dishwasher.

To start making my Sriracha Teriyaki Chicken Wings you will need:
- 3 lbs. Chicken Wings, split
- Salt & Pepper
For The Sauce:
- 1 1/2 cups Water, divided
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp. Honey
- 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
- Chopped Scallions for topping, if desired
Get cooking:
Begin by patting the chicken wings dry and seasoning lightly with salt and pepper. Next, simply place the wings on the Air Fryers crisper tray. You may need to do so in batches. Cook the wings at 390° for approximately 24 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. About halfway through, using tongs turn the wings over and resume cooking.
While the chicken in cooking, you can start making the sauce. In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine and stir, just 1 cup of water with the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, garlic powder and sriracha. At this point, the sauce only needs to cook for about a minute. Next, in a separate bowl, combine the corn starch with the remaining 1/2 cup of water. Stir until cornstarch is dissolved and then add to saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened for approximately 5 minutes.
Finally, place cooked chicken wings on a platter and drizzle with the Sriracha Teriyaki Sauce or you can serve the sauce on the side for dipping. Top wings with chopped scallions and add a side of potato wedges. enjoy!
